 Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, better known as his pseudonym MrBeast is an American YouTube star, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Six years ago, he was recognized as the creator of a type of YouTube videos that revolve around expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube when he was 13 and used the username "MrBeast6000". He began with Let's Plays, and "videos of his estimation of how rich other YouTubers" content. In 2017, he became a viral sensation after his "counting up to 100,000" video earned hundreds of thousands of views in a matter of days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with most of his videos gaining hundreds of millions of views.Over time, his style of content has changed to include donation and challenge videos that pay thousands of dollars, videos involving tough tasks or survival challenges as well as original video vlogs. Donaldson employed a number of his childhood friends as helpers to run his expanding channel. In 2022, the MrBeast team consisted of 60 people.Donaldson's main YouTube channel, which surpassed 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July in 2022, is known as "MrBeast".
