Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, better called Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American artist and rapper. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. The project was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It included the smash song "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) together with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first performer on the Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within a year.
